You can show your support for the work of the Coalition on Homelessness in a hundred different ways. Here are a few helpful and easy ideas:
Become a Sustainer
By making a small monthly donation you can become part of the backbone of community support that the Coalition needs in order to maintain an independent voice for homeless people. $20 per month is only $10 out of each paycheck. But even as much as $1–5 a month makes a big difference collectively!

Other Fun Ways for You and Your Friends Can Support the Coalition
Here are a few ideas of other fun ways to support the Coalition on Homelessness! Call the Development Coordinator at 415-346-3740 x307 if you’re interested in supporting the Coalition in one or more of these ways–
1. House Parties: We’ll be organizing house parties throughout the year. If you’d like to help by hosting or inviting friends to join one of our house parties.
2. Birthday Donation: Celebrating a birthday soon? Rather than receiving gifts for your next birthday, ask your friends and family to donate to the Coalition on Homelessness in dedication to your special day and support the movement to end homelessness.
3. Garage Sale: We’ll be organizing and holding garage sales, bake sales, and book sales throughout the year. If you’d like to donate to or hold a garage sale, bake sale, or book sale to raise money for the Coalition.
4. Car Donation to Auction City: Do you have an old car, boat or RV? Donate any of these vehicles to Auction City and all funds go to the Coalition on Homelessness. The auction amount is tax deductible. Click here! to fill out an online form or call 1-800-574-0888.

Hi Chloe-We use an online donation form created by Network for Good. They handle many local nonprofit online donations. We have no control over the format of the donation form but if you note specifically under “additional comments” that you “do not want to be solicited” we will note that on our end. Thanks.
Hi, When are the garage sales? I have some nice items that I could donate. Also, are there other ways to contribute directly to some of the homeless camps?
