You can show your support for the work of the Coalition on Homelessness in a hundred different ways. Here are a few helpful and easy ideas:
By making a small monthly donation you can become part of the backbone of community support that the Coalition needs in order to maintain an independent voice for homeless people. $20 per month is only $10 out of each paycheck. But even as much as $1–5 a month makes a big difference collectively!
Many donors are big fans of local artist, Jain “in Vain.” A pack of ten of her “Parlor Game” cards costs only $13.95, including shipping and handling, for any mailing location within the United States.
We have Coalition on Homelessness T-shirts that costs only $13.95, including shipping and handling. T-shirts come in a variety of colors and sizes. You may come to our office, 468 Turk St., or call Lorraine, 415.346.3740 x307, to inquire about sizes and colors.
We’ll be organizing house parties throughout the year. If you’d like to help by hosting or inviting friends to join one of our house parties call us at 415.346.3740 x307 or send an email to development@cohsf.org.
Celebrating a birthday soon? Rather than receiving gifts for your next birthday, ask your friends and family to donate to the Coalition on Homelessness in dedication to your special day and support the movement to end homelessness.
We’ll be organizing and holding garage sales, bake sales, and book sales throughout the year. If you’d like to donate to or hold a garage sale, bake sale, or book sale to raise money for the Coalition, call us or e-mail us.
Donate your car through Auction City! Funds will go to the Coalition and the auction amount is tax deductible.
